A child had accidentally fallen into the water, and a group of adults gathered along the riverbank to help. An elderly person held out a bamboo pole and told the child to keep holding on so the child would not sink. At the same time, another man jumped directly into the water. The man, wearing a white shirt and black pants, lifted the child upward and helped bring the child closer to safety. The rescue happened at around 4 p.m. and was recorded by people nearby. The rescuer later climbed back out safely. Chinese viewers identified him as a deputy director at a local hospital.
